Gran Isla Hotels

Dear guest:

Due to the effects of a second wave of covid that is currently hitting Spain and the Balearics, it is very unlikely that we will be able to reopen for the season. We have waited to see if the situation would improve with an effective treatment or the virus mostly disappear, but in fact it has gone worse and most EU countries are now recommending not to travel to Spain. It is currently uncertain if our government will initiate some lockdown restrictions in the near future due to this second wave.

We are not certain if you are going to travel to Mallorca but in case you do we wanted to advise you in time to make proper preparations.

We have an obligation towards our guests and our employees to provide a safe environment, and with the current situation we do not feel it is safe for us to reopen. Being family-oriented hotels, we feel we currently cannot guarantee the necessary social distancing, among other required restrictions.
It is very hard for us to not being able to welcome you this season, but we hope you understand we believe in safety first.

If you have a reservation arriving soon:

If you have booked through a travel agency, contact them directly to check your options.
If you have booked through our website, we have most likely already contacted you regarding your reservation and your options.

Again, our most sincere apologies for the situation that the covid pandemia has caused. We hope you stay well and we look forward to welcoming you next season.

Kind Regards,
Gran Isla Hotels
