What to see in Soller
The town of Soller can be found on the northwest coast of Majorca, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain Range. The charming town and the port, which are less than 2 miles away from each other, perfectly combine the beautiful mountains with the Mediterranean Sea. The port area is popular amongst tourists who come in their thousands every year. Whilst you can find a number of historical buildings and monuments in the town, such as the Cathedral, as well as the exciting festival of the Moors and Christians, Es Firó, which takes place every year in May.

The Firó

One of the biggest and noisiest festivals in Majorca which takes place every May. The people of Soller commemorate the expulsion of the Moors from the island back in the 16th century in emphatic style. A beach battle takes place accompanied by fireworks. -
