We recommend you some places to visit
Santa Ponsa, located in the southwest of the island of Mallorca, is one of the meeting places for thousands of tourists throughout the year, especially in the summer months.
We recommend that you visit the beaches and coves in the surrounding area, take a stroll around the weekly Santa Ponsa street market...
There is no greater tourist attraction in Santa Ponsa than the beach of Santa Ponsa. A large beach with kilometres of coastline of fine white sand and crystal clear waters. It is one of the most popular beaches in summer in the southwest of Mallorca, due to its easy access, its amenities and above all its beauty.
Another option is to visit Caló d'en Pallicer, a fantastic cove of fine golden sand, more intimate and known for its characteristic U-shape. It is located very close to Santa Ponsa beach, next to the Club Náutico.
And if you are still hungry for more water, we recommend an excursion to the Malgrats Islands, islets located in front of Santa Ponsa. Of great beauty and classified as a Nature Reserve.
Palmanova, located in the southwest of Majorca, is the largest area of the municipality of Calvià. Here you will find a fantastic beach of more than one kilometre in length and very much appreciated by tourists thanks to its size, its atmosphere and the quality of the crystalline water.
Palmanova has a marina, situated next to the beach. Its fantastic atmosphere made it to be named in 2009 as one of the most important tourist areas of Mallorca. In addition, its beach has the "Q" for quality.
The coast of Palmanova includes three fantastic beaches: Cala Blanca, Punta Nadala and Es Carregador. Between the three beaches there is a kilometre of white sand and crystal clear waters where you can enjoy a day at the beach with your family or friends.
It is a beach with all the comforts and services for the whole family and with very good connections and access. Ideal to enjoy the tranquillity and the Mediterranean climate of Majorca.
Also visit the Port of Palmanova, an aquatic oasis ideal for strolling with the family and with several typical restaurants of local and international cuisine, as well as a Nautical Club where you can enjoy water sports and activities.
Puerto Portals is another of the tourist centres belonging to the municipality of Calvià. It is only three kilometres away from Palmanova, which makes it a very good option to visit if you are staying in one of our hotels in Santa Ponsa and Palmanova.
By many, it is considered to be the luxury area of Calvia as if you take a stroll along the Puerto Portals promenade you will enjoy views of some of the best yachts in the world.
You will also find some more luxurious shops, as well as a more elaborate gastronomic offer and good restaurants.
Although it is true that in the municipality of Calvià there are many entertainment options to do during your holidays in Majorca, we cannot miss to recommend you to set aside a day to visit Palma, the capital of the island. Stroll through the streets of the old town, visit the most exclusive shops or buy yourself a souvenir of your trip in one of the capital's street markets.
You can't miss some of the most important monuments on the island either: visit S'Almudaina, Bellver Castle or the imposing Palma Cathedral, we're sure you'll love them!
On your visit to Majorca, of course, we cannot fail to recommend Playa de Palma. It is one of the busiests areas of the island, and includes several of the beaches that make up the bay of Palma.
Apart from cooling off in the sea or walking along the long sandy beaches, Playa de Palma offers much more. Take a stroll along the long promenades that border the Mediterranean and spend some fun time visiting the numerous shops you'll find, as well as having a drink or appetizer in one of the many restaurants in Playa de Palma! Beach, leisure, entertainment, restaurants, fashion? You'll find it all on your doorstep!
